Kimmy was a mother of two young daughters when she vanished from her Aurora apartment in 1996. Her family has long suspected that her husband, Michael Medina, killed her, but he was never charged in connection with Kimmy's disappearance.
In 2005, Medina told his new wife that he killed Kimmy. Then he killed his baby son and is currently in prison for it.
