AURORA | SWAT officers are negotiating with an armed suspect who is holed up in an apartment on Clinton Street.
The incident started around 5 p.m. when police tried to serve a felony warrant on a suspect in the 1900 block of Dallas Street, a police department spokeswoman said.
The suspect ran from officers and was later spotted going into an apartment in the 1400 block of Clinton, a few blocks away.
The man has refused to come out of the apartment and a negotiator is talking to him, the spokeswoman said.
